Step Two - Choosing an Agency

First of all, thank you so much to everyone who has committed to pray for us through this journey! So many of you have contacted us with prayers, fundraising ideas, and encouragement. YOU GUYS ROCK!

Step two of our journey takes us to choosing an agency

Choosing an Agency: We have decided to work with Hope 4 Kids for our adoption. 4 main reasons spurred our choice:
1. This Agency handles every type of adoption and since we are open to both fost-adopt and private adoptions we needed an agency like them.
2. This Agency is local ...enough said
3. This was one of the agencies represented at our church organization and we just loved them.
4. We sat down with Ted Youmans, the awesome adoption attorney who led the orientation and has a total heart for God, orphans, and birth parents. He suggested Hope 4 Kids for our Home Study.

Next step will be the Home Study.

Adoption Costs: Each adoption is different so we do not have an exact number to save for yet, but we do know that there will be costs whether that be paper work processing fees, agency fees, or attorney fees. We have been brain-storming on how we can start saving for these adoption costs. We have already begun saving in day-to-day areas. We have decided to do a shoe drive through Angel Bins as well as a possible
T-Shirt sale (more info to come on how you can be involved  :) .

We are excited and nervous about how God will work this all out!

Brooke
